Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair a range of household and commercial electronic equipment, including televisions, radios, computers and peripherals, photocopiers, stereo systems, and video equipment.
- Inspect and test electronic devices, components, and assemblies using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic probes, circuit testers, and other specialized instruments.
- Troubleshoot and identify faults in circuits, components, and overall system functionality.
- Perform adjustments, replacements, alignments, and repairs on electronic systems and components by referencing technical manuals, schematics, and using soldering equipment and hand/power tools.
- Accurately complete work orders, maintenance logs, and testing documentation.
- May oversee other electronic equipment service technicians.
